Happy 42nd Anniversary to the I V E!

Today, the Institute of the Incarnate Word and our Religious Family, celebrates 42 years of foundation. We ask you to pray especially for our priests on this very important day for them.

We want to be anchored in the sacrosanct mystery of the Incarnation which is “the first and fundamental mystery of Jesus Christ.”[1] Rooted in this mystery that is truly present among us, we want to set out fervently to restore all things in Christ (Eph 1:10). We want to be another Incarnation of the Word so as to incarnate Him in all humanity.

Our religion “is a doctrine, but is above all an event: the event of the Incarnation, Jesus, the God-Man who recapitulated in himself the universe (Cf. Eph 1:10).”[2] “It is impossible to find an entirely comparable example of the Godhead of Persons and of the mystery of the Incarnation.”[3]

We always want to draw out new light and strength from the redeeming Incarnation, since Jesus Christ is the inexhaustible source of Being, Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Life and Love.
