Mission Highlight: A Miraculous Statue
On May 6, 2010 the Blessed Virgin of the Mount of Anjara shed tears of blood in front of a religious sister. Her tears, visible on the statue, were seen by many people. The analysis of the blood says that it is human blood. The commission that dealt with the issue stated that there is no natural explanation in this regard.
In addition to parish, school, and pilgrim related apostolates, this mission also has several works of mercy, including a home for children. In his 2014 visit to the Holy Land, some of these children were graced to greet Pope Francis with a song.
