March for Life 2025 – Winter Youth Fest – Restore Conference

Last month, our Religious Family held our annual March for Life & Winter Youth Festival at the Venerable Fulton Sheen Seminary. We had participants from all over the country including Florida, Chicago, Alaska, Massachusetts, Texas and many more places!

March for Life

The week began with the Vigil Mass for Life at the National Shrine of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on the evening of Thursday, January 23, 2025 where we joined thousands of pilgrims praying together for life. The next day, accompanied by images of Our Lady of Lujan and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we marched in the streets of Washington D.C. celebrating life with an immense spirit of joy! This year was the 52nd National March for Life in Washington, DC where each year tens of thousands of pro-lifers come to our nation’s capital to defend the dignity and value of every human life. After the March, we reunited in the evening at the IVE Fulton Sheen Seminary where we prayed vespers followed by dinner and entertainment.

Winter Youth Festival and Restore Conference

We continued activities with the young people from our missions around the US at the Seminary on Saturday with our Winter Youth Festival for teens and Restore Conference for young adults. The day was filled with prayer, formation and fellowship! This year’s theme was Rejoice in Hope (Rom 12:12), following the theme of the Jubilee Year. Thanks to our priests of the Incarnate Word, confessions were available all day!

Activities concluded on Sunday with a final Mass before the various groups departed. We continue to pray for a greater right to life in our country and around the world and we pray especially for our youth, that they may know and transmit the hope that comes from following Christ.

A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world. Through special initiatives and in daily prayer, may an impassioned plea rise to God, the Creator and lover of life, from every Christian community, from every group and association, from every family and from the heart of every believer.
