“You are all beautiful, O Mary;
in you there is no trace of original sin!"
(from Morning Prayer for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception)
Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception from all the members of our province!
Today is a special celebration for us – not only is the Immaculate Conception the patroness of the United States of America, she is also the patroness of our Province.
Our Province includes 24 communities: 19 in the United States, two in Canada, one in Guyana, one in Mexico, and one in Suriname.
Our sisters began the mission in the United States in 1994, at the invitation of the Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn. We later began working in Canada in 2004, in Guyana in 2007, in Suriname in 2010 and in Mexico in 2014. We give many thanks to God for these 30 years of foundation in our province.
We ask you to remember our missionaries in your prayers, especially those in the Province of the Immaculate Conception!
