Our Religious family in the Province of the Immaculate Conception has much to give thanks for in these first days of November!
First Vows in Washington, DC
In Washington DC, 11 sisters professed their first vows, promising to live “chaste for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven; poor, manifesting that God is man’s only real treasure; and obedient, even to death on the cross, in order to follow the Incarnate Word more intimately in His chastity, poverty, and obedience” (from the Formula of Vows).
Two of these sisters will soon be joining our contemplative branch.
Three “New Marys" in Guyana
Also, in Guyana three novices received their new names. They will receive their habits on November 13!
The three “New Marys” are:
Sister Mary of the Lamb of God
Sister Mary Beloved Daughter of the Eternal Father
Sister Mary Sea of Grace
