“Resurrexit Sicut Dixit!”
Christ is risen from the dead! Allelulia! Just as the joy of the Easter season permeates every part of the liturgy of the Church during these days of Eastertide, so too, for the Christian, should the joy of the Resurrection penetrate every part of our lives.
The Easter season begins with Easter Sunday and continues with exuberant joy for 50 days, ending with the celebration of Pentecost.
Look to him that you may be radiant with joy! (Ps 34:6) As we look toward the Risen Christ, as a people of Faith, we should be filled with joy, knowing that Christ has conquered sin and death, has overcome the world and opened to us the doors of salvation.
In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world! (Jn 16:33) The sufferings of this life continue, but they are but a brief moment in comparison to the glory that awaits the faithful in heaven. Our joy comes from this assurance!
We share with you Easter greetings from our missionaries from all around the globe!
“Whatever the Cross touches, bears fruit.”(Donde la Cruz toca da fruto.)
We ask our Blessed Mother for the grace to be filled with the joy of this season!
