This September, by the grace of God, nine sisters who received their formation in our province professed their perpetual vows by which they have given themselves completely to Christ and His Church forever.
Seven sisters professed vows in the United States, one in Italy and one in Luxembourg.
On September 12, at the St. Edith Stein Monastery in Brooklyn, NY:
Sr. Mary of the Holy Face (contemplative)
Mother Mary of the Nativity (mistress of novices in the contemplative novitiate)
On September 14, in our contemplative monastery in Genoa, Italy:
Sr. Mary of the Infant of Prague (contemplative)
On the same day, in Washington DC:
Sr. Maria Mater Sanguinis Pretiosi (missionary in Guyana)
Sr. María Virgen Oyente (missionary in Rome, Italy)
Sr. Maria Thalassa (missionary in Emmitsburg, MD)
Sr. Mary Strength of Martyrs (missionary in Mankato, MN)
Sr. Maria Ina Ng Kahirapan (missionary in Guyana)
Finally, on September 17 in Luxembourg:
Sr. Maria Forma Dei (contemplative)
We give thanks to God for the vocations of these nine sisters and we ask your prayers for them!
