Our mission began on September 1, 2012. St Michael Parish is in a predominately rural community with a large Hispanic immigrant population. The parish includes two satellite missions where we also help: San Alfonso and Holy Child Missions.
Our main works of evangelization are the following:
- Visit the Sick: The sick and elderly are the jewels of our parish community; we accompany them in their trials.
- Parish Duties: We assist in caring for the sacristy and serve as Eucharistic ministers.
- Catechism: Our program includes over 500 children taught on two different days throughout the week by 45 catechists. We also run an RCIA program for adult converts; we currently have 70 participants, 30 of which will receive the sacraments this coming Easter Vigil.
- Youth Group: We assist the Catholic Youth Organization by working with about 50 youth every Sunday afternoon.
Keep a lookout for future events related to our community!
