Today, Solemnity of St. Joseph, we celebrate the 36th<\/sup> Anniversary of our congregation, Institute Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matar\u00e1, female branch of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word.<\/p>

On March 19, 1988 we were founded, taking St. Joseph as our special father and protector.<\/p>

We read from the foundational decree of that day: Our only desire is to give Jesus Christ Brides according to his Heart. Women who, consecrating themselves totally to God, know and live this reality: “They only want to deal in love with Jesus Christ” (cf. St. John of Avila), in such a way that they give witness that apart from the love of Jesus Christ, the civilization of love cannot be built and there cannot be an authentic evangelization of culture.<\/em><\/p>

We ask St. Joseph, Protector of Virgins, for the grace to persevere in this goal!<\/p>
