Today our Religious Family all over the world celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lady of Lujan, our patroness and mother (because May 8th fell on Sunday this year, the feast was moved to May 9th<\/em>).\"\"<\/p>

In 2011, the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of the Immaculate and Pure Conception of Lujan was officially named by the Holy See as Patroness of the Institute Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matar\u00e1.\u00a0 Since the beginnings of our Religious Family Our Lady of Lujan has accompanied our missionaries all around the globe. Her image is found in every chapel of our communities throughout the world. She is our mother, our protector and the source of our vocations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our Religious have begun the \u201cInstitute of Studies of Lujan\u00a0(Instituto de Estudios Lujanenses)<\/em>\u201d in order to study, promote and spread her devotion around the world.\u00a0 The website can be accessed\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and has many resources in English and Spanish including writings, history, art, videos, liturgical resources and more.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Novena of Years (2021-2029)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The year 2030 will be the 400th<\/sup> Anniversary of the arrival of the image of Our Lady of Lujan to Argentina and her first miracle of the wagon. That moment began 400 years of devotion to her and a remarkable history of graces and miracles poured out through her hands.<\/p>

Last May, Pope Francis called these four centuries of the veneration of the Pure and Immaculate Conception of Lujan \u201ca very long journey\u2026A journey of memory, of years and years of pilgrimage, of searching, of miracles, of daughters and sons who journey to see the mother.\u201d \u00a0He recommended that this Anniversary be prepared with a novena of years. \u201cLet yourselves be accompanied by Her, and accompany her in her journey,\u201d he said.<\/p>

As she is the official patroness of our Religious Family and the \u201cMother of our vocations\u201d, we desire to make Our Lady of Lujan known and loved throughout the world as we know her and love her. \u00a0With this novena of years, we especially want to foster our own love for her and increase our devotion and veneration of her in all the members of our Religious Family and of our Third Order.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This past November our Institute began the nine-year preparation for this anniversary with a virtual Congress in which various members of our Religious Family and Third order presented about the Servant of God Father Jorge Mar\u00eda Salvaire, the great apostle and propagator of the devotion to Our Lady of Lujan and builder of the current basilica in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina<\/a>.<\/p>
