Within our congregation we have both active missionaries and contemplative nuns.<\/p>

Our contemplative sisters live a simple and hidden life in the cloister, but they are \u201cthe vanguard of all the apostolic works of the Institute, since with their prayer life and penance they obtain from the Lord the necessary graces for salvation of many souls\u201d (SSVM Directory of Spirituality,<\/em>\u00a093).<\/p>

Our Contemplative House of Prayer in\u00a0Brooklyn, NY<\/strong>\u00a0will soon be hosting a\u00a0Come and See Discernment Retreat<\/em>\u00a0March 11-13, 2022.\u00a0<\/strong>Experience contemplative life, sharing in moments of prayer, work, and community life with the sisters.\u00a0<\/p>
