aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4611\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"false\"><p><strong>Religious Education Program<\/strong><\/p><p>This year our Religious Education Program has registered 1,305 children. The program has daily classes from Tuesday to Friday, each day with different groups. We have 47 catechists and 32 assistants distributed in 53 classes. On Saturdays we have 2 special needs classes.<\/p><p>Last year 210 children received their first communion, 207 received their Confirmation, and 60 adults received their sacraments.<\/p><p><strong>Youth Group<br \/><\/strong>There are about 20 girls (ages 8 to 17) who gather at St. Rocco\u2019s center from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Every Saturday the girls have a small talk on a spiritual or moral topic; following the talk the girls have some time for questions and\/or to discuss issues they are experiencing. After the talk, there is time for sports and then for prayer. Some of them participate in the Youth Festival organized by the Religious Family and the March for Life.<\/p><p><strong>Home Visits<br \/><\/strong>The sisters visit homes so that they can help those who are separated from the Church and to register new families. Between the months of June and July.<\/p><p><strong>Pre-Cana Group<br \/><\/strong>The group gives the necessary formation to the couples preparing to receive the Sacrament of Marriage. This formation is very important for our immigrant families.<\/p><p><strong>Parish Office Work<\/strong> <br \/>Two sisters work at the Mission office from Tuesday to Friday. While the sisters are in the office they attend to the needs of those that come in for assistance, organize the activities for each day, and prepare for up-coming retreats.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/vocesverbiusa.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voces Verbi<\/a><\/strong><br \/>This is a new group of young adults that meets every other Saturday. Two sister accompany this group, they help them with spiritual, human and moral formation. The young adults participate in world youth days, <em>Universitas<\/em>, <em>Vox<\/em> formation days, March for Life, and youth conferences organize by the IVE.<\/p><p><strong>Activities During Special Seasons<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Advent<\/em><br \/>During the nine days before Christmas Eve, the sisters organize the \u201cPosadas Novena.\u201d It is a Mexican Tradition that consists of going to different houses to pray the Rosary and sing before the manger awaiting the birth of the Child Jesus.<\/p><p><em>Our Lady of Guadalupe<\/em><br \/>Everything starts with the \u201cDocenario\u201d twelve day prayer that consists on song and rosary procession with particular prayers for the celebration. The people and the sisters participate of the \u201cMa\u00f1anitas.\u201d It is a traditional custom among the Mexicans: they pray and sing special songs in honor of Mary. Right before the main Feast on the 12th, we also have the Feast of St. Juan Diego the visionary of Our Lady on the 9<sup>th<\/sup>. During the day on the 12<sup>th<\/sup>, parishioners and non-parishioners participate in the different Holy Masses, honoring Our Lady. We have 7 Masses that day plus a service in one of the mushroom houses. Approximately 3,000 participate every year.<\/p><p><em>Christmas<\/em><br \/>The play of the Nativity of Jesus is organized by the sisters along with the children and the youth group.<\/p><p><em>Lent<\/em><br \/>Every Friday the sisters pray with the people the Way of the Cross at the Parish. It is require that Confirmation and RCIA students participate at least 5 times.<\/p><p><em>Easter Triduum<\/em><br \/>The sisters assist to prepare the Liturgy of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. In addition, the sisters organize the live Way of the Cross, which is performed by the youth of the community.<\/p><p><strong>Other Activities during the Year<\/strong><br \/><em>Masses<\/em><br \/>Every weekend all the sisters assist in the preparation of the six Masses, which include sacristy duties and assisting Monsignor Frank Depman and Fr. Andres in various tasks.<\/p><p><em>Liturgy<\/em><br \/>In order to improve the Liturgy, the sisters have organized a group of altar servers, have a Children\u2019s Choir and hold lector workshops.<\/p><p><em>Oratories<\/em><br \/>Every Saturday 3 seminarians come for a boys oratory which is held at the same time is the girls oratory. The sister facilitate the seminarian with the needs of the oratory.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-4612\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Apostolado<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-4612\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4612\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong>Programa de Educaci\u00f3n Religiosa<\/strong><br \/>Este a\u00f1o tenemos registrados en el Programa de Educaci\u00f3n Religiosa 1,305 ni\u00f1os en las clases. El programa cuenta con clases diariamente de martes a Viernes cada d\u00eda grupos distintos tenemos\u00a0 47 catequistas y 32 ayudantes distribuidos en 53 clases. Los s\u00e1bados tenemos 2 clases de Chicos con necesidades especiales.<\/p><p>El a\u00f1o pasado 210 ni\u00f1os recibieron su primera comuni\u00f3n, 207 recibieron la Confirmaci\u00f3n, y 60 adultos recibieron el a\u00f1o pasado sacramentos.<\/p><p><strong>Grupo de j\u00f3venes<\/strong><br \/>Hay alrededor de 20 ni\u00f1as (de 8 a 17 a\u00f1os) que se re\u00fanen en el centro de St. Rocco a partir de las 2:00 p.m. a las 5:00 p.m. los s\u00e1bados. Todos los s\u00e1bados las chicas tienen una peque\u00f1a charla sobre un tema espiritual o moral; Despu\u00e9s de la charla, las ni\u00f1as tienen tiempo para preguntas y \/ o para discutir los problemas que est\u00e1n experimentando. Despu\u00e9s de la charla, hay tiempo para practicar deportes y luego para orar. Algunos adultos j\u00f3venes participan en el Festival de la Juventud organizado por la Familia Religiosa y tambi\u00e9n participan de la Marcha por la Vida.<\/p><p><strong>Visitas al hogar<\/strong><br \/>Las hermanas visitan los hogares para que puedan ayudar a quienes est\u00e1n separados de la Iglesia y para registrar nuevas familias. Entre los meses de junio y julio.<\/p><p><strong>Grupo Pre-Cana<\/strong><br \/>El grupo brinda la formaci\u00f3n necesaria a las parejas que se preparan para recibir el Sacramento del Matrimonio. Esta formaci\u00f3n es muy importante para nuestras familias inmigrantes.<\/p><p><strong>Trabajo de oficina parroquial<\/strong><br \/>Dos hermanas trabajan en la oficina de la Misi\u00f3n de martes a viernes. Mientras las hermanas est\u00e1n en la oficina, atienden las necesidades de las personas que acuden en busca de ayuda, organizan las actividades para cada d\u00eda y se preparan para los pr\u00f3ximos retiros.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/vocesverbiusa.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voces Verbi<\/a><\/strong><br \/>El nuevo grupo es voces verbi, es un grupo de adultos j\u00f3venes que se re\u00fane cada dos s\u00e1bados. Dos hermanas acompa\u00f1an a este grupo, las ayudan con la formaci\u00f3n espiritual, humana y moral. Los j\u00f3venes adultos participan en las jornadas mundiales de la juventud, Universitas, Marcha por la vida y conferencias juveniles organizadas por el IVE.<\/p><p><strong>Actividades durante Adviento, Navidad, Cuaresma y Pascua<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Adviento<\/em><br \/>Durante los nueve d\u00edas previos a la v\u00edspera de Navidad, las hermanas organizan la &#8220;Posadas Novena&#8221;. Es una tradici\u00f3n mexicana que consiste en ir a diferentes casas para rezar el rosario y cantar ante el pesebre que espera el nacimiento del Ni\u00f1o Jes\u00fas.<\/p><p><em>Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Guadalupe<\/em><br \/>Todo comienza con la oraci\u00f3n de doce d\u00edas &#8220;Docenario&#8221; que consiste en una procesi\u00f3n de canciones y rosarios con oraciones particulares para la celebraci\u00f3n. La gente y las hermanas participan de las &#8220;Ma\u00f1anitas&#8221;. Es una costumbre tradicional entre los mexicanos: rezan y cantan canciones especiales en honor a Mar\u00eda. Justo antes de la fiesta principal de los doce, tambi\u00e9n tenemos la fiesta de San Juan Diego, el visionario de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora. Su fiesta es el d\u00eda noveno. Durante el d\u00eda del d\u00eda 12, los feligreses y no feligreses participan en las diferentes misas, en honor a Nuestra Se\u00f1ora. Tenemos 7 Masse ese d\u00eda m\u00e1s un servicio en una de las casas de hongos. Aproximadamente 3.000 participan cada a\u00f1o.<\/p><p><em>Navidad<\/em><br \/>Las hermanas organizan el juego de la Natividad de Jes\u00fas junto con los ni\u00f1os y el grupo de j\u00f3venes.<\/p><p><em>Cuaresma<\/em><br \/>Todos los viernes las hermanas rezan con la gente en el Camino de la Cruz en la parroquia, se requiere que los estudiantes de Confirmaci\u00f3n y RICA participen al menos 5 veces.<\/p><p><em>Triduo Pascual<\/em><br \/>Las hermanas ayudan a preparar la Liturgia del Jueves Santo, Viernes Santo y S\u00e1bado Santo. Adem\u00e1s, las hermanas organizan el V\u00eda Crucis en vivo, que es realizado por los j\u00f3venes de la comunidad.<\/p><p><strong>Otras actividades durante el a\u00f1o<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Misas<\/em><br \/>Todos los fines de semana, todas las hermanas ayudan en la preparaci\u00f3n de las seis misas, que incluyen deberes de sacrist\u00eda y asistencia a monse\u00f1or Frank Depman y al p. Andr\u00e9s en diversas tareas.<\/p><p><em>Liturgia<\/em><br \/>Para mejorar la liturgia, las hermanas han organizado un grupo de monaguillos, tienen un coro de ni\u00f1os y organizan talleres de lectura.<\/p><p><em>Oratorios<\/em><br \/>Todos los s\u00e1bados 3 seminaristas vienen al oratorio de ni\u00f1os que se celebra al mismo tiempo que el oratorio de ni\u00f1as. After appealing the the archbishop to build a shrine in that spot, Juan Diego was asked by the archbishop for a sign proving the Lady&#8217;s identity.<\/p><p>Juan Diego returned to the hill and encountered Our Lady again. Though it was winter, the Virgin told him to climb to the top of the hill and pick some flowers to present to the Archbishop. The Virgin bundled the flowers into Juan&#8217;s cloak, known as a tilma. When Juan Diego presented the tilma of flowers to Zum\u00e1rraga, the flowers fell out and he recognised them as Castilian roses, which are not found in Mexico. Further, the tilma now miraculously bore the image of the Virgin herself.<\/p><blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Let not your heart be disturbed\u2026 Am I not here, who am your Mother? Are you not under my protection? Am I not your health? Are you not happily within my fold? What else do you wish?
