Solemnity of the Incarnate Word

“We commit all our strength to inculturate the Gospel, . . .
to prolong the Incarnation to all men, in the whole of man,
and in all the manifestations of man” (Constitutions, 5).

Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Annunciation, the great mystery of the Incarnation of the Son of God. We also remember the fortieth anniversary of the foundation of our beloved Religious Family. Forty years ago, on the Solemnity of the Incarnate Word, 1984, the Institute of the Incarnate Word was born in San Rafael (Mendoza), Argentina.

We share with you a video made to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Institute of the Incarnate Word. (The video is in Spanish but can be viewed with English subtitles.)

We give thanks to God for the many graces He has poured out on our small religious family during these forty years of existence, and we pray in a particular way for all our priests of the Incarnate Word.

Mary, Mother of the Incarnate Word, pray for us!
