The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola help us grow deeper in our spiritual lives. By teaching those who take the exercises how to \"conquer themselves\" (in the words of St. Ignatius), the Spiritual Exercises become a tool to help conform our wills to the will of God.
Every year the Pope does this retreat during Lent with the Papal Household. Sisters, seminarians and priests of our Religious Family do this retreat annually for a week, and the full 30-days once every ten years. Lay men and women are invited to share in a weekend experience of this silent retreat and method of the Church.
This year during Christmas break from schools and universities, young women (ages 17 and up) are invited to participate in the Spiritual Exercises from January 2 - 5.
Please bring a Bible, a notebook, a towel, personal toiletries, and any medications you are used to taking.
