Our contemplative sisters in the Monastery of St. Edith Stein (Brooklyn, NY) are once again offering Christmas cards with enrollment in their Christmas novena of 2016.
The cards are designed by the sisters and taken from photographs of the stained glass windows of their monastery, as well as from devotional images of the Baby Jesus. Cards are available with messages in English or in Spanish.
Enrollment in the Christmas novena includes: the special Christmas Novena of Masses, prayer in the hours of Adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament, the recitation of the Rosary, and the singing of the Liturgy of the Hours.
In honor of the 125th Anniversary of the foundation of the Monastery by the Adorers of the Precious Blood celebrated in 2015-2016, we are again offering a new edition of the “The Story of the Precious Blood” by Msgr. Joseph Stedman written in the 1950’s with new color photos of the Monastery by our sisters.
