SOME DIGITAL STUFF

“PHOTOS OF THE WEEK” AROUND THE WORLD
Missionaries of our Religious Family are always up to something.  Just when in one corner of the world we might all feel that we are just plodding along, elsewhere there are First Communions and Eucharistic processions in Tanzania, Youth Groups in Lithuania, Summer Camp for disabled children in Argentina, and bumper crops of vocations in Brazil!  Unite in joy, hope and prayer with Catholic activities going on around the world by subscribing to “Photos of the Week” which lists the events and Facebook links to what other people have been doing over the past seven days.

Check at “Photos of the Week” on www.instituteoftheincarnateword.org  There are also chronicles in English of the stories of our missionaries around the world.

Each week we also update the box on the front of our homepage with “International Photos of Week – [Dec 15]” should you prefer to check in there from time to time.

“GO OUT TO ALL THE WORLD” / “ID POR TODO EL MUNDO” has English subtitles
The wonderful “TV-style” news reports from Rome, “Id Por Todo el Mundo” on the YouTube channel Voz Catholica, now includes “CC” (closed caption) English subtitles beginning in the last few episodes.  Just click on the bottom CC button for the English translation to accompany the anchorman, Fr. Juan Pablo Palacio, IVE as he describes the footage of news from the past month.

SISTERS on FACEBOOK
We also have a Province-wide Facebook page which includes frequent updates from our missions here in the US, Canada, Guyana, Suriname and Mexico, as well as news from around the world.

WAYS TO SUPPORT US ON-LINE

Amazon-Smile-Logo-01-01-697x200
For anyone who shops through Amazon at this time of year (or throughout the year) is invited to support us by choosing “Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará” through “Amazon Smile” by registering at smile.amazon.com/ch/52-2151379.  Amazon donates a portion of each purchase to Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará.  Thank you!

PAY-PAL TO SUPPORT MISSIONARIES AND NEW VOCATIONS
We also invite you to consider making a specific gift to support our missions and our new vocations this season.  PayPal offers one-time donation options as well as monthly settings to continue to support us throughout the year.  Our drop-down menu includes thematic ways to find the convent or local mission you would like to support:

Many thanks to all who pray for us, volunteer in our missions, work on our convent construction repairs and garden projects, and help us keep the lights on through donations.  As Our Lord promises: “no one who gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple of Mine will surely not loose his reward (Matthew 10:42).”

Blessings for these last days of Advent, and consider a RETREAT for your soul in the New Year, seeing a MISSIONARY PHOTO to cheer you on in prayer and share with others, or making a DONATION now or later so we can keep giving God the glory!  Saint Joseph, pray for us!
