De Maria Numquam Satis!
In the month of May especially the Church turns to celebrate our Heavenly Mother, Mary. The Latin phrase above can be translated as “concerning Mary, one is never finished [speaking, writing, contemplating]!”
Like with our own mothers, we can always bring her another flower, another little gift of love, another sign of our affection and gratitude. As the Mother of God, she herself invites us to marvel at the “great things the Lord has done for her.” We will never (numquam) say “enough” (satis) to thinking about and singing the praises of what God has done for and in Mary (de Maria)!
We recall May 8th, Our Lady of Luján; May 13th the beginning of the Centenary Celebrations of Our Lady of Fatima which will last through October 13th; Mary Help of Christians on May 24th; and in a most particular way, Our Lady of the Visitation on the 31st to crown the month of May. (So much to share, more soon, for now Our Lady of Luján!)
May 8th: Our Lady of Luján
Around the world her image is honored and her aid is invoked in our Religious Family as our special patroness. See this short video of Our Lady of Luján around the world:

In the US, Fr. Nate Dreyer gave the following “Good Nights” reflections:
In Italy, a number of IVE seminarians professed their final vows under her care in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome: Br. Maxim Guerov (Tajikistan), Br. Steve Onguene Essono (England), and Br. Simon Willis (Scotland).
Our missionaries posted scenes of the procession with Our Lady of Lujan in Tanzania on Facebook.
May Our Lady protect and guide us ever closer to Her Son as we call upon Her with ever greater confidence and love as He Himself did in the home at Nazareth.
Viva la Virgen!
