In the middle of August we have the great Marian feast of the Assumption: a mystery of life over death and of passage to eternal life. In keeping with our fourth vow of Marian consecration according to the method of St. Louis de Montfort, we keep this feast with special honor and joy.
We want to share with you the homily of Bl. John Paul II in 2001 on the Assumption, as well as his homily from 1997 which especially points towards the related feast of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth on August 22nd.
May Our Lady show us in her Assumption the way to everlasting life opened for us by Christ the Lord, and in her Coronation may she show us the glory of Heaven and her continued intercession at the side of her Son.
